Pan Halippa, a Poet with „Flori de pârloagă”

Abstract

This article examines the poetry of Pan Halippa, who, like Alexei Mateevici or IonBuzdugan, started from a special understanding of the canons of poetics. The Bessarabianpoets of the Union generation, as well as the Ardelians on the other side of Romanianism, were constantly concerned with the national idea, the ardent ethics, the continuationof a trenchant direction of direct, mimetic poetry based on the way of transfigurationclassicizing convention, the poetics of sight, the transitive language. In an essentializedformula, Halippa’s poetry is an adaptation of romanticism to samanatorism.
