Philologia is a scientific research journal, which has been published under the auspices of "Bogdan Petriceicu-Hasdeu" Institute of Romanian Philology since 1958. It is the legal heir and successor of the journals: Moldovan Language and Literature (1958-1989) and The Journal of Linguistics and Literary Science (1990-2009).

The aim of the journal is to publish and promote scientific results in the field of Philology.
