Abstract
This paper refers to the prose of the Republic of Moldova where the post-communist period is reflected, in the foreground being the individual with his problems and anxieties. Most of the prose has more cognitive than artistic value. They should be perceived as historical documents, as well as anthropological studies, since they contribute to the knowledge of the individual in the post-communist period and his existential problems.
