Abstract
The dialectological archive of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova has a history of six decades. This archive reflects the scientific interest of dialectologists in resear- ching the Romanian dialects spoken in the east of the Prut. Based on field dialectological research, eight volumes of linguistic atlas have been developed. Also, about 3000 ethno and sociotexts are recorded on magnetic tapes. Notebooks with answers received from informants and magnetic tapes (floppy disks) are the main sets of materials of the dialectological archive.
