Abstract
The article aims to analyze the morphological features of inflexible parts ofspeech (adverb, preposition, conjunction and interjection) identified in the text of thepopular novel Sandipa (ms. Rom. 824, dated 1798 and kept at the Russian State Library,Moscow). The forms of word classes are examined in terms of their presence in the oldestRomanian writings belonging mainly to the sixteenth century, but also to subsequentcenturies, including the second half of the eighteenth century, the period in which thetext announced in the title was written, referring, as the case may be, to the situation ofthe current literary language.
